Advanced Tabs and Balloon Modules Now Divi 5 Ready

Both modules are among the most technically advanced in the Divi Pixel library. Advanced Tabs allows you to create neat, structured tab layouts for any type of content, while Balloon enables advanced tooltips and custom mega menus directly inside the Divi Builder. In our previous release, we focused on making Divi Pixel fully ready for Divi 5 by introducing dynamic content support, selective asset loading, and Popup Maker compatibility for Divi 5.

These updates laid the groundwork for the more complex modules in this release, ensuring both performance and compatibility with Divi 5.

Advanced Tabs Module for Divi 5 Beta

The Advanced Tabs module has been fully converted and is now compatible with the Divi 5 Beta framework. It allows you to organize content into elegant, structured tab layouts, helping you present large amounts of information without cluttering your page.

You can add an unlimited number of tabs and place virtually any type of content inside them — text, images, icons, buttons, or even other Divi modules. Advanced Tabs is ideal for FAQs, feature comparisons, product details, and any layout where clarity and organization are essential.

With its Divi 5 conversion, the module now benefits from improved performance, modernized code, and seamless integration with the new Divi framework, ensuring a smooth experience for both designers and site visitors.

Balloon Module for Divi 5 Beta

The Balloon module, previously available in Divi 4, has also been fully converted and is now ready for Divi 5 Beta. Balloon is one of the most powerful Divi Pixel modules, designed to add advanced interactivity to your layouts. It allows you to create custom tooltips that display additional information on hover or interaction, as well as custom mega menus built entirely with the Divi Builder. This gives you full design control without relying on third-party plugins or custom code.

Now fully compatible with Divi 5, the Balloon module retains all of its flexibility and functionality while taking advantage of Divi’s new architecture, making it easier to build interactive and engaging user experiences.

Overcoming Divi 5 Library Rendering Challenges

During the conversion, we faced a major challenge with how Divi Library items are rendered in Divi 5. In Divi 5, CSS is dynamically generated, which previously caused issues when multiple Divi Library items were used on a single page. Styles could overlap or conflict, especially when combining Popup Maker, Advanced Tabs, and Balloon modules with Divi Library items.

We’ve solved this issue. CSS is now properly isolated, ensuring multiple Divi Library items can coexist on the same page without style conflicts. You can safely use Popup Maker, Advanced Tabs, and Balloon modules together, though we still recommend using these advanced features thoughtfully to maintain performance and usability.

What’s Next

While we’ve made significant progress, a few Divi Pixel modules are still pending conversion to the Divi 5 framework. Our goal is to complete these conversions as quickly as possible while maintaining the stability, performance, and feature depth you expect from Divi Pixel.

To reach full Divi 5 compatibility, only four modules remain:

• Horizontal Timeline
• Table Maker
• Dual Heading
• Image Slider

In the next release, we’ll be publishing the Dual Heading module for Divi 5 — bringing another popular and design-focused module into the Divi 5 ecosystem. We’re getting closer with every update, and we’re excited to continue rolling out converted modules until Divi Pixel is fully Divi 5–ready.

This release is a major step forward for Divi Pixel and Divi 5. With Advanced Tabs and the Balloon module fully converted and compatible with Divi 5 Beta, two of our most powerful modules are now ready for the next generation of Divi.

We’ve also addressed critical Divi Library CSS conflicts, ensuring that complex layouts using multiple Divi Pixel modules are now safer and more reliable.
