Panorama Arrives in Divi 5 Alpha: Create Stunning 360° Experiences

by Jul 7, 2025Announcements, Pixel Modules

Big news for Divi Pixel users: we’ve officially hit a major milestone! With our latest release, we’re introducing our 40th module designed specifically for Divi 5 Alpha. This new addition not only expands our library but also showcases what’s possible with the next generation of Divi.

The shift to Divi 5 represents a significant leap forward for the entire Divi ecosystem. As Elegant Themes continues to fine-tune the Alpha release, we’re hard at work modernizing our entire collection to match its new, robust foundation. Every module we develop is crafted to deliver faster performance, greater creative freedom, and a smoother building experience.

Our newest module, Panorama, is a perfect example of what’s possible. It’s designed to make your visuals more captivating than ever – whether it’s an immersive 360-degree video or a stunning panoramic image that visitors can explore.

Why Divi 5 Alpha?

Divi 5 is still in its experimental stage, intended for testing rather than live production use. That’s why we recommend using our new modules, including Panorama, in a safe testing environment where you can experiment freely without any risk to your live site.

Best Practices for Exploring Divi 5 Features:

  1. Set up a separate staging or development site
  2. Keep your live site on Divi 4 until Divi 5 is stable
  3. Expect regular updates and improvements as the Alpha evolves

This gives you a chance to get familiar with the new capabilities while staying secure.

Introducing the Panorama Module

The Panorama module has long been a favorite in Divi 4 for bringing images and videos to life. Now, we’re excited to bring this powerful module to Divi 5, so you can continue creating immersive, interactive experiences in the new environment.

Panorama lets you break free from static frames and showcase wide landscapes, tall buildings, or full 360-degree videos in a scrollable, drag-to-explore format. Visitors can move horizontally or vertically, revealing every detail at their own pace. Perfect for travel sites, real estate listings, or any project where immersive storytelling is essential — now fully compatible with Divi 5.

Panorama Module Features:

  1. 2D Image Panorama: Great for wide or tall still images
  2. Equirectangular Panorama: Perfect for 360-degree images
  3. Cube Map Panorama: Adds dynamic, cube-based exploration
  4. Video Panorama: Bring scenes to life with motion

Each option unlocks new creative possibilities and lets you craft an experience that truly stands out.
