Image Slider for Divi 5 Is Here: Divi Pixel Completes the Transition

by Jun 19, 2026Announcements, Pixel Modules

We’re thrilled to announce another major Divi Pixel milestone — the Image Slider module is now fully compatible with Divi 5! With this release, Divi Pixel reaches 100% Divi 5 compatibility, making it the most complete and powerful Divi enhancement plugin ready for the future of the Divi ecosystem.

In our previous release, we introduced the Table Maker module for Divi 5. While the module was already fully functional, this update brings significant improvements, refinements, and stability enhancements to make it even more reliable and polished.

The journey to Divi 5 compatibility has been one of the biggest challenges in Divi Pixel’s history. Today, we’re proud to reach the finish line by adding the 51st and final Divi Pixel module to our Divi 5 arsenal. Every single Divi Pixel module is now fully compatible with the new Divi framework.

It’s a milestone worth celebrating.

Introducing the Image Slider for Divi 5

The wait is finally over. The Divi Pixel Image Slider module is now available for Divi 5. This was, without a doubt, one of the most challenging module conversions we faced during the entire Divi 5 transition. The latest Swiper.js library introduced several compatibility challenges and limitations when used alongside the new Divi 5 framework. Throughout development, we encountered numerous technical obstacles that required extensive testing, experimentation, and custom solutions.

Fortunately, our development team persevered and successfully delivered a fully functional Divi 5 version of the Image Slider module without sacrificing the flexibility and features users expect. Even better, existing Image Slider modules should convert smoothly from Divi 4 to Divi 5, making the migration process as seamless as possible for current users. After months of work, we’re incredibly excited to finally share this module with the Divi community.

Table Maker Got Even Better

Following the release of Table Maker for Divi 5, we continued refining the module based on feedback and additional testing. During the Elegant Themes review process, several issues were identified that required improvements before approval. Our team addressed all reported concerns and took the opportunity to further enhance the module’s stability and overall performance.

While working on those improvements, we also identified an area where the user experience could be significantly improved. Previously, responsive accordion functionality was limited to row-header-based navigation. In this release, we’re introducing a brand-new option that allows users to generate responsive accordions using column headers instead. This enhancement removes the requirement for dedicated row headers and opens the door to entirely new table layouts and use cases.

Whether you’re building pricing comparisons, team showcases, feature matrices, schedules, or custom data tables, you now have much greater flexibility when designing responsive experiences. It’s a small addition with a huge impact on what can be achieved using Table Maker.

Fixes and Improvements

We work closely with our customers, and every reported issue is carefully reviewed by our support team. Once verified, it becomes part of our development roadmap and is addressed as quickly as possible. This release includes numerous fixes and improvements across Divi Pixel, including:

  • Fixed an issue in Swiper-based modules (Carousel, Blog Slider, Testimonial Slider, and Horizontal Timeline) where selecting certain navigation icons could break rendering and module functionality.
  • Fixed Image Lightbox functionality in the Divi 5 Horizontal Timeline module.
  • Fixed various Divi 4 to Divi 5 conversion issues.
  • Improved overall stability and reliability across multiple Divi 5 modules.
  • Enhanced compatibility with the latest Divi 5 builds.

As always, your feedback plays a crucial role in helping us make Divi Pixel better with every update.

100% Divi Pixel Compatibility

What a journey it has been. We started converting Divi Pixel modules for Divi 5 back in late 2023. The very first module we attempted to convert was the Tilt Image module, using one of the earliest Divi 5 development versions.

To put it simply—it wasn’t easy.

At the time, the Divi 5 API was still evolving, documentation was extremely limited, and many systems were still under active development. We often had to inspect and debug Divi 5 internally, learning how the framework worked through experimentation and countless hours of testing.

Supporting both Divi 4 and Divi 5 simultaneously required a complete architectural rethink of how Divi Pixel modules were built and maintained. We had to create solutions that preserved backward compatibility while embracing the future of Divi.

Since then, Divi 5 has evolved significantly, and so has Divi Pixel. By working closely with the new Divi 5 API and continuously adapting our development process, we’ve successfully transformed our entire module library for the next generation of Divi.

And today, we can proudly say: We made it.

This release represents a fundamental milestone in Divi Pixel’s history and marks the completion of one of the most ambitious projects we’ve ever undertaken.

Of course, every website is different, and there may still be isolated conversion issues depending on specific configurations. But with each update, Divi Pixel becomes more refined, more stable, and better prepared to make the transition from Divi 4 to Divi 5 as smooth as possible.

And if you encounter any challenges along the way, our team is here to help.

What’s Next?

With the Divi 5 transition now complete, we’re ready to focus on the future. Moving forward, our priorities will include:

  • Resolving any remaining migration and compatibility issues reported by customers.
  • Further optimizing existing Divi 5 modules.
  • Building exciting new modules designed exclusively for the Divi 5 framework.
  • Expanding design possibilities with innovative features and interactions.

The next chapter of Divi Pixel development starts now.

New Layout Packs

Now that all Divi Pixel modules have been converted, installing our layout packs on Divi 5 websites should work exactly as expected. However, it’s important to remember that all existing layout packs were originally built using Divi 4 modules. In most cases, the Divi 5 Migrator will need to process the layouts and convert modules to the new framework format.

We also plan to gradually update our demo websites and layout packs to native Divi 5 versions. However, we must carefully balance this process because many customers still rely on Divi 4. Migrating all layouts immediately would make them incompatible with Divi 4 installations, so for now we will continue supporting both generations of Divi while preparing for a full Divi 5 future.

A Historic Milestone for Divi Pixel

The release of the Image Slider module for Divi 5 marks the completion of a journey that began nearly three years ago. As the 51st and final Divi Pixel module to receive full Divi 5 compatibility, it represents far more than just another update—it symbolizes the successful transformation of the entire Divi Pixel ecosystem for the next generation of web design.

Reaching full Divi 5 compatibility is one of the biggest milestones in Divi Pixel’s history. From the earliest experimental Divi 5 builds to today’s stable and powerful framework, we’ve invested countless hours into rebuilding, optimizing, and future-proofing every module in our collection.

While this chapter is now complete, the journey is far from over. We are already working on new Divi 5-exclusive modules, exciting features, and continuous improvements that will help our users build even more creative and engaging websites. We’re incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished, grateful for the support and patience of our customers, and excited about everything that comes next.

We invite you to join the Divi Pixel Community, explore the newly updated modules, download demo sections, and celebrate this milestone with us. Thank you for being part of the journey and helping us shape the future of Divi Pixel.
