Divi Pixel Adds Divi 5 Support: Over 30 Modules Now Available for Testing

by May 8, 2025Announcements

We’re excited to share that Divi Pixel now supports Divi 5! With the introduction of a new toggle in the plugin settings, users running the Divi 5 alpha version can now enable over 30 already-converted Divi Pixel modules. This update is a big step in our ongoing mission to stay ahead of Divi’s development curve and ensure seamless compatibility with the upcoming generation of Divi.

Divi 5 is a complete re-architecture of the Divi Builder, promising major improvements in speed, stability, and extensibility. While Divi 5 is still in alpha, we know many users are eager to explore what’s coming—and we want Divi Pixel to be right there with you.

That’s why we’ve added a dedicated setting within Divi Pixel that allows you to manually activate our Divi 5-compatible modules. These modules were rewritten for Divi 5’s new structure and extensively tested. And while this isn’t a full beta release of Divi Pixel itself, it is an important step in preparing for the future.

This release also includes enhancements and fixes for Divi 4 users, so even if you’re not using Divi 5 yet, you’ll benefit from the improvements included in this update.

Divi 5 Support: Over 30 Modules Ready

We’re excited to share that our team has successfully updated 34 Divi Pixel modules to work seamlessly with Divi 5’s new architecture. While these modules are stable, Divi 5 is still in its alpha phase, so some changes are expected as Elegant Themes continues development. That’s why your feedback is incredibly important.

For this release, we’ve extensively tested every module included in this update. In the process, we’ve resolved over 120 minor bugs to ensure a smooth and reliable experience. These modules have also been tested using our existing demo sections, so you can confidently use them in your Divi 5 projects.

If you run into any issues, please let us know through our support portal. Your reports help us quickly address problems and enhance the product—not just for you, but for the entire Divi Pixel community.

This update is just the beginning. Our goal is full compatibility with Divi 5 by the time it reaches a stable release, and this toggle-based integration is a key step toward that future.

What You Need to Know

Before you enable Divi 5 support, please consider the following:

  1. This is not a finished version. The Divi 5 toggle is intended for users who are actively testing Divi 5 in its alpha phase. While our modules are functional, the core Divi framework is still changing—and bugs may arise. We’re counting on your feedback to help us make things better. Please report any issues on our support portal.
  2. Not all modules are converted yet. We’ve converted over 30 modules, but some Divi Pixel modules still run in Divi 5’s legacy (backward compatibility) mode. This fallback mode allows older modules to run but comes with limitations and may not offer optimal performance.
  3. Test in safe environments. We strongly recommend that you use this toggle on test or staging sites only—not production environments. Divi 5 is still under heavy development and not yet suitable for live websites.

How to Enable Divi 5 Support in Divi Pixel

Getting started with Divi 5 modules in Divi Pixel is simple. Once you’ve installed Divi 5 and the latest version of Divi Pixel, a new toggle becomes available in the plugin settings.

Just go to your WordPress Dashboard ( Divi → Divi Pixel → Modules ), and you’ll find the new option to enable Divi 5 modules. With one click, you’ll unlock access to the new-generation modules built specifically for Divi 5’s architecture. This setting lets you stay in control, so you can switch between Divi 4 compatibility and Divi 5 testing as needed.

Other Fixes and Improvements

This update isn’t just about Divi 5—alongside the new support toggle, we’ve also made a series of enhancements and fixes to improve the performance and reliability of existing Divi 4 modules.

We addressed an issue where the Breadcrumbs module wasn’t displaying correctly on author pages, and improved the FAQ module by adding excerpt text to its structured data, enhancing SEO and rich snippet compatibility. The Maintenance Mode redirect has also been refined to work properly when “Post Name” permalinks aren’t selected.

Additionally, we resolved a compatibility issue affecting the Image Slider when used inside the Advanced Tabs module. On top of that, we’ve made several smaller tweaks and refinements to ensure a smoother experience overall. To see the full list of changes, please check the changelog.
