Create Beautiful Counters Using Half Circle Design

by Apr 1, 2022Announcements, Pixel Modules

It’s time for the next update of the Divi Pixel plugin. Today we are excited to introduce you to a new version of the plugin, with a new Counter module option and dozens of fixes and improvements 🤩

Our team is still working on new modules that will soon be released, but today we would like to introduce a new version of the plugin. It is true that without a new module, but there is still a lot to talk about. The key improvement in this version is a new option added to the counter module that allows you to design half-circle counters. It is an interesting solution and opens up a number of new design possibilities.

In addition, we fixed a few issues and added new features in several modules, which I’ll tell you about later in this article. If you’re interested, read on.

Meet the new Counter module option

Animated counters are very popular in modern web design. It’s an effective way to display stats to your visitors. With the Divi Pixel Counter module, you can easily count numbers, dates, and even posts. You can also add prefix and suffix text, as well as format the number to show decimal values. One of the unique options available in this module is Scale style, which allows you to add a scale to your circular counters.

But that’s not all, today we are adding another interesting option which is the Half Circle style. This counter mode looks very unique and will be a great addition to your Divi website. Of course, a circular counter mode is still a powerful tool, but if you want to diversify your design a bit then adding a half circle counter style is a very good idea.

In this mode, we can add the counter number and also display the text on both sides of the counter. All elements are of course highly customizable, which means that you can build your own counters with just a few clicks.

12 Brand New Counter Module Layouts

With the new plugin version, we have also prepared completely new sections that you can download for free and use on your own site in no time. This is a set of 12 beautiful layouts where a counter module has been used. But it is not everything. We did more than that. The new Counter module demo page allows you to download demo layouts directly from the demo page.

We found this is the most convenient way for downloading the demo sections, and this functionality will be added to all our demo pages in the next few days.

Support for the new Gradient Builder

Elegant Themes has introduced a new Advanced Gradient Builder for Divi very recently. The new gradient builder allows you to create a whole new array of gradients using multiple color stops, repeating gradients, new gradient types and new gradient positions. In order to make the new settings available in all our modules, we had to update our code, but it was worth it. Now you can create beautiful gradients using the Divi Pixel modules.

Fixes and improvements

In this version of the plugin, we have fixed a dozen minor issues that some users may have encountered. Below are some of the most important ones I’d like to mention but if you would like to see the full list, please see the change log.

Added Projects category and tag slug options
Divi Pixel allows you to change the WP Projects tab to something else. You can now change all slugs including category and tag. We have also added an option to change the dashboard icon.

Fixed Panorama Responsive Height issue
The Panorama module height didn’t work well on mobiles. In this version, we have revised all sizing settings available in this module and made sure they are all working with no issues.

Fixed Image Hotspot spacing in different browsers
We have fixed the issue with the Hotspot Image tooltips, where the tooltip spacing was not the same in different browsers. It was working fine in builder and in the Chrome browser on the front-end, but the spacing defined in the module did not apply in the Firefox browser.

Fixed Facebook and Google API code causing an error on cron
Some users have reported issues on their sites where the email with the error message was sent to the administrator. It was caused by the scheduled automatic call to fetch Google/Facebook reviews and the error was caused by a call attempts on pages, where Facebook and Google credentials were not added.

It’s all for now. Our team is working on new modules as well as beautiful Divi Pixel layout packs that you can use in your projects, so stay tuned. We will contact you soon🙂
