Divi Pixel is very popular among users of the Divi theme today. It is one of the favorite plugins that everyone wants to try to enhance the Divi theme. A bit of history…
But let’s start from the beginning. The idea for Divi Pixel was born in April 2019 and we immediately got to work. It took almost a year to prepare the version for publication. In March 2020, the first version of the plugin came out with 12 modules and custom Divi theme customization options. Since then, a lot has changed. We’ve created dozens of new modules, improved performance so that only the modules that are used on the site are loaded, and added some amazing features that help web designers around the world today.
Below, we present some highlights from the Divi Pixel journey.
2020
The year 2020 was very intense. We just released the first version of the plugin, and we were already thinking about new modules and options that could power Divi Pixel. In total, we added 13 new modules and ended the year with 25 modules.
Beginnings
In April 2019, Maciej invited Jan Thielemann to cooperate and this is how Octolab OU, the creator of the Divi Pixel add-on, was created.
Release
After 11 months of development, we have released the Divi Pixel with custom Divi Theme Settings and 12 Divi Builder modules.
Image Hotspot and Pricelist
Two weeks later we released 1st major update with 2 new modules added: Image Hotspot and Pricelist module.
Countdown Timer & Hover Box
At the end of March 2020, we released another update where 2 modules have been added: Countdown Timer and Hover Box modules.

2021
2021 was a bit less fruitful, but it doesn’t change the fact that we improved the plugin’s performance and published some very useful modules such as Balloon, SVG Animator or FAQ module with structured data.
Performance Update
At the end of January 2021, the long-awaited version 2.0 was released, in which not only a new Timeline module was added, but also the plugin’s performance was improved.
Balloon Module
The Balloon was released in March 2021. This module can display tooltips on your Divi website, but it also can be used for building beautiful and functional mega menus!
Divi Library Shortcodes
This is a very useful feature that will allow you to use Divi Library items inside other modules. You will see a new column in the Divi Library where you can copy the library item shortcode and place it in any other module which supports the text field.
FAQ module with structured data
The FAQ module with structured data will help you build professional FAQ pages with proper HTML markup that Google loves!
Introducing Image Slider
The Image Slider module will help you create amazing galleries with thumbnails navigation in no time! It can be used for creating hero sliders.
SVG Animator
With SVG Animator, you can easily add animated icons and illustrations to your Divi website and surprise your visitors with creativity and professionalism.
2022
2022 is probably the busiest year for us, because there was a lot going on. We added a total of 10 new modules and the long-awaited Advanced Tabs and the Popup Maker, which has become the most advanced tool for creating popups in Divi.
Info Circle
This creative module saves a lot of space by displaying content in a circle with icons, where the user can switch content by clicking on the icons placed in the circle.
Introducing Advanced Tabs for Divi
The Divi Pixel Advanced Tabs module comes with dozens of powerful settings, that will help you create beautiful tabbed areas on your Divi site, where users can easily switch between contents using tabs navigation.
Horizontal Timeline
The timeline is one of the best ways to display chronological events in a neat and accurate style. A timeline is the presentation of a chronological sequence of related events along a drawn line that enables the reader to quickly understand time-related or time-limited relationships.
Maintenance Mode
The new Divi Pixel functionality allows you to switch to Maintenance Mode with a few clicks. Based on feedback from Divi Pixel Users Community, we also added a very useful option that allows you to generate or set your own link so that the customer can visit the site and see the changes.
Introducing Expanding CTA for Divi
The Divi Pixel Expanding Bar module is highly customizable and will help you add an interactive Call To Action section that will expand while the user is in viewport.
Particles Backgrounds
The particle effect allows particles to be added to the background that may react to the movement of the mouse. The molecules may or may not be linked depending on the style chosen.
Introducing Popup Maker for Divi
This is one of the most awaited modules added to the Divi Pixel plugin. . It comes with powerful triggering settings and free popup templates.
Tile Scroll module
The Tile Scroll module is a tool from the group of those that will help to impress visitors and make your website simply more attractive. This module offers endless customization possibilities.
Layout Importer
